Magna Pars Suites was the famous Martone family’s perfumery, a building transformed into an uber-stylish ‘hotel à parfum’ of just 39 luxurious designer suites. On the outside it is a vision of modern architecture in plate glass and metalwork. Inside, beautiful oak floors, sleek white furniture and artworks from Milan’s Brera Academy set the tone. It is stylish, private and chic—and our Members receive exclusive rates here, year round, starting with the Blue Ribbon rate of £169 per night for two sharing an Executive Suite—each of which has its own signature fragrance crafted by some of the most gifted ‘noses’ in the industry.
Slightly south of the touristy Duomo district, Magna Pars Suites is a cool oasis with its own courtyard garden, in-house perfume laboratory and boutique, spa and gym. Each Executive Suite is an airy contemporary apartment overlooking the courtyard garden with a living area, bedroom and bathroom, styled with works by talented furniture-makers from Lombardy and Milanese lighting designers, with comfortable leather couches, leather chairs, a glass table and coffee table, a small private library and original paintings inspired by the signature scent of the suite. There is a king-size bed and spacious ensuite bathroom with bath tub and a walk-in shower. There’s also free WiFi, a 46-inch TV with Sky channels, iPod dock, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, tea-making facilities, free bottled water and bath products made by Georgia Martone, one of the family perfumers.
