Rugby international games are among Members’ passions. At CountryClubuk we always secure tickets for the Six Nations and the Autumn Internationals, among other important international matches. And now Members can join our CountryClubuk Rugby World Cup parties, including England’s important pool game against France, the Quarter-Finals, the Semi-Finals and the Final itself.
Rugby World Cup fever is building: we are all hoping our respective teams will peak at just the right moment for Japan 2019. And surely most of us would like to be there, to see at least some of the matches, and in the case of Japan, to explore a fascinating and beautiful country which is probably a new destination for most of us, at the same time. Adding rugby to travel definitely adds an extra sense of purpose and frisson to a foreign holiday.
Twenty nations will compete for this, rugby’s biggest prize, The Webb Ellis Cup. This clash of the rugby nations is the big stage that rugby players from all over the world dream of reaching, and rugby fans from all over the world dream of attending. Held over seven weeks, it is the third largest sports event in the world after the Olympic Games and the Football World Cup.
We are delighted to invite our Members to be there in person for the CountryClubuk Rugby World Cup Tour, provided by England Rugby’s own travel arm, England Rugby Travel. You can enjoy a 12-night itinerary, taking in the ultimate matches, the Finals and the Semi-Finals. Or you opt to see England v France in the pool , followed by the Quarter-Final. You will be hosted on the ground by specialist Japanese-English speakers throughout, with transfers, match tickets and hotels all pre-arranged. And if you want to vary your itinerary, or extend it, book tickets for different matches, remove the flights, or add a longer holiday in Japan, all can be arranged.
