Our Wine Cellar selection from the New World starts with New Zealand. The transformation of these wines in recent decades has been astonishing. Indeed, it has been almost an invention, giving us some of the most vivid flavours ever to appear in a wine bottle. Spearheading this has been the famous Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, Cloudy Bay, whose pungent, nettle-sharp Sauvignon Blanc is a benchmark for the finest expression of the grape's varietal character to be found anywhere in the world, and sells out within weeks of its release. The delicious Cloudy Bay, the world’s most famous Sauvignon Blanc, is back on top form—and is again limited in supply. So we are pleased to have reserved cases for our Members. The 2012 is a classic wine from an outstanding season, and the exclusive Members' price is £14.83 a bottle, instead of the usual £22.

A stunning New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and a super deal at £119 per case of 12  
This is a super example of what New Zealand does best. Peter and Jane Clark’s premium single-vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2011 is bright, crisp, youthful and with a rich, creamy texture and long finish. The Telegraph Wine Club has offered this wine at £144 per case, but our Members have a real El Snippo.
