Our finest Club Claret: a Gold Medal winning 2009 from the owners of Château Palmer: only £114 a case
 
The CountryClubuk claret is an excellent Bordeaux. Beautifully made by the Sichel family of Château Palmer, it is ready to drink now, it has the class and pedigree of a French classic, is made by one of the top Bordeaux winemakers and won a prestigious Gold Medal in France—yet it is half the price it should be.
 

Delectable Silver Medal winning 2011 Club White from Bordeaux: Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon  
The line-up of wines in the blind tasting to select the Club White Bordeaux included excellent wines—but none better than this delicious 2011 Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon which the Tasting Panel discovered to be a Silver Medal winning wine, also made by the great Sichel family of Château Palmer.

We are delighted to have secured a small parcel of the highly-rated 2006 Haut-Bages Averous, 'super second' wine of the great Château Lynch-Bages, 5ème Cru Classé Pauillac, at an amazingly good price. One of the best in Bordeaux, it has a following all its own and a similar capacity to age. Please do not delay!

Chateau Landiras Graves 2009 won a Gold Medal at the prestigious Concours Generale Agricole Paris 2011 and a Coup de Coeur (the top award) in the even more prestigious ‘Favorite Guide Hachette 2012’. This is amazing for a not expensive red Bordeaux! The Tasting Panel love to ferret out such wine deals for Members.
 

From Pomerol: superb deal on the luscious Château Moulinet 2008: save £42 on a case of six bottles
Pomerol produces some of the most expensive, exhilarating and glamorous wines in the world, and Château Moulinet is one of the oldest and most important estates in the appellation, where the wines are always sumptuous and rich, the epitome of Pomerol. We are delighted to have their vintage 2008 in the Club Cellar.

This fine St-Emilion Grand Cru speaks for itself. Against stiff competition from much more expensive Grand Cru and Premier Cru Bordeaux, Château Boutisse 2009 won Gold Medal in the prestigious Concours General Agricole Paris. Langoa Barton is the sister Château of the great Léoville-Barton, one of the key estates in the famous St Julien appellation, noted for supreme elegance and balance.
