With at least five years' experience in national or country magazine subbing, rewriting, headlining and page production. Subject matter will range from game shooting, salmon and trout fishing and equestrian sports to politics, land, property, farming, gardening and fine wine, so a broad education, knowledge of countryside matters and literature, and the usual eye for subbing details are essential. Might suit a country-based freelance sub-editor, working from home.
