Member Services Consultants

Does making people happy make your day? Are you intelligent, patient, helpful, cheerful, conscientious, well-organised and well-spoken? Do you enjoy talking on the telephone, and can you remain cool under pressure? If the answers are Yes, we want you to join our happy and successful Member Services team for full training and an in-house career ladder. Opportunities exist for full-time positions and for part-time staff wishing to work flexible hours around education or family commitments.

Our excellent team work together to give our delightful Members the best service—and to make that service a happy experience, whether they are booking a suite at The Ritz or a whale-watching weekend in South Africa, rugby tickets at Twickenham, or ordering their Club claret, their pearl and diamond jewellery, a new pair of riding breeches, shotgun cartridges or a salmon rod.

The day is varied and interesting, and our team members have the ability, independence and motivation to think on their feet and combine in-house training with personal initiative and common sense. They are good problem-solvers and they enjoy being entertained by our partner hotels and spas, as part of the familiarisation process.

A strong background in travel, entertainment and/or country sports are helpful to the role, but not essential at the outset, as training will be given. More important is a can-do and conscientious attitude, and a happy frame of mind.

Responsibilities:

Communicate directly with Members, both by telephone and in person at our exclusive Club events (eg wine tastings, luncheons, parties and seminars)

Research and provide information on facilities and services, events and attractions, tours, travel routes and schedules

Arrange tickets, bookings, appointments and reservations for Members

Take orders for Club merchandise, and give advice on their selection

Package:

Excellent salary

Annual bonus (subject to meeting targets)

20 days' holiday plus statutory holidays

Pension scheme

Membership of Country Club uk giving exclusive deals on thousands of goods and services including travel, tailoring, fashion, jewellery, wines, cars, mortgage fees etc

Please apply, with current c.v. and application letter, by or post to Personnel Director, CountryClubuk, Kent House, Market Place, London W1W 8AJ.
